In loving memory

Privacy and care

Your memories are treated with respect

This page is a plain-language placeholder for the family’s final privacy notice. It describes how the memorial currently handles contributions.

What is collected

When someone submits a tribute, story, or photograph, the memorial stores the contribution, the chosen public attribution, relationship, private email address, and uploaded files.

Family review

Every contribution is private when first submitted. A designated family administrator reviews it before deciding whether it should appear publicly. Rejected contributions are not displayed.

Email addresses

Contributor email addresses are visible only inside the protected family review area. They are never shown on the public memorial and should be used only when the family needs to clarify a submission or respond to a concern.

Photographs and consent

Contributors must confirm that they have permission to share their submission and the people shown in any photographs. The family may remove a photograph or story if consent is disputed.

Retention and removal

The family controls how long approved and unapproved submissions are kept. Before launch, replace this paragraph with the family’s chosen retention period and a working contact method for access or deletion requests.

Report a concern

Add the family’s preferred private contact email here before sharing the memorial publicly. Concerns about privacy, accuracy, copyright, or consent should be reviewed promptly.
